Welcome to Fifth Grade!! I am every excited to be given the opportunity to teach sixth grade this year!! I am planning and anticipating a year filled with challenge, learning, and excitement!!
I love to have fun at school!! Sixth grade will be a blast, but my first priority is to teach you the skills you will need to be successful in the upcoming years. In sixth grade, it is very important for you to be responsible for your schoolwork, behavior, and ultimately, your academic success. I am a firm teacher with high expectations for all of my students. Therefore, I want our classroom time to be spent on learning and not discipline.
I am very excited to get to know you and your parents. I strongly believe that communication between home and school is extremely important so feel free to contact me with any questions or concerns you may have. I will update this page often and sixth grade will also be sending home a bi-weekly newsletter to keep you updated on the happenings in sixth grade. I will be using the page to post daily homework assignments too! We all need to work together to make this a very successful and rewarding year!!
